Information about preliminary financial results for 2016

The Board of Directors of Przedsiębiorstwo Przemysłu Spożywczego “PEPEES” S.A. (“the Company”, “the Issuer”) hereby informs that, in connection with the termination, on 13 March 2017, of the aggregation of financial data carried out to prepare the financial statements and reports of the Company and of the Issuer’s Group for 2016, the decision was made to publish preliminary financial results for the aforementioned period.
Preliminary results for 2016 are presented below (the data for 2015 are shown in brackets).
Preliminary financial results of the Issuer’s Group:
- sales revenue: PLN 185,675 thousand (PLN 141,553 thousand)
- operating profit: PLN 23,584 thousand (PLN 8,607 thousand)
- net profit attributable to equity holders of the parent: PLN 17,600 thousand (PLN 5,288 thousand)
Preliminary financial results of Przedsiębiorstwo Przemysłu Spożywczego PEPEES S.A.:
- sales revenue: PLN 143,767 thousand (PLN 107,927 thousand)
- operating profit: PLN 19,833 thousand (PLN 7,222 thousand)
- net profit: PLN 15,918 thousand (PLN 5,917 thousand)
The Company’s Board of Directors hereby explains that the significant increase in profit recorded in 2016 occurred due to, among other things, higher sales, including especially exports, and higher production as compared to the corresponding period in the previous year, and due to the income generated from sales of energy efficiency certificates obtained this year.
At the same time, the Issuer would like to remind shareholders that the final financial results for 2016 will be presented in annual (separate and consolidated) financial statements to be published on 20 March 2017.
